She was predeceased by: her parents, Fermin and Pauline. She is survived by: her daughter Renee; her son-in-law Marvin Montano; her grandchildren, Andrew (Charly Montano), Elizabeth Miller, Emi Miller and Andrea Patton; her great grandchildren, Elianna Montano, Marcelino Montano, Landin Maynes and Alessia Montano; her godchildren, Marvin Lucero, Darlene Erevia, Tanya Maurer and Angel Lovato; her husband James Cowan (Jim); and her siblings, Fermin Lovato Jr., Toby Lovato, Raymond Lovato, Dolores Chaves and Betty Lucero.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (412 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
