He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Wink. He is survived by: his father Otto Wink; his brother Guy Wink (Kara); his nephew Trey Wink; his niece Melisa; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlyn and Blakely; his nieces and nephews, Brady Wink, Evan Wink and Lindsay; Robert Jones, Kevin Jones and Daniel Streun.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any gifts honoring Gary be made to a to a favorite New Mexico National or State Park to help preserve the places he loved.
