It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Yazzie (Farmington, New Mexico), who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zonnie Yazzie and Elsie Bell of Naschitti, NM.; his wife Elizabeth Norberto of Nageezi, NM; and his brothers, Navajo Code Talkers, Ernest and Harrison Yazhe.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marie R. Begay of Naschitti, Evelyn Billy of Naschitti and Helen Begay of Kirtland. He is also survived by his daughters, three grandchildren.
