He was predeceased by: his father Charles Begay Sr.; his brothers, Baldwin Begay and Charles Begay Jr.; and his grandparents, Largo, Es Das Bah Begay, Roy and Anna Begay.
He is survived by: his mother Alice Mae Begay; his wife Elaine Begay (Castillo); his children, Jeremiah D. Begay, Amadeus Begay, Trustin Begay, Jerry Begay Jr., Shanamiah Begay and Nethias Begay; and his siblings, Benny C. Begay, Gary Begay, Judy Werito, Dora Tom and Darrin Begay. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington (404 W Arrington St, Farmington, NM 87401). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brethren in Christ Mission Cemetery.
