He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Walter Adams and Wilma Marie Bratcher Adams; his siblings, John Adams and Betty Adams; and his grandparents, Charles Adams, Jennie Ethel Warren Adams, Eaulah "Bliss" Bratcher and Maggie Elizabeth Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Ovidia; his son Jimmy Roy Adams (Lyneash); his stepson Robert Wood; his daughters, Rachel Adams (Bret) and Lindsey Adams; his siblings, Bill Adams and Judy; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Galena, Whitney, Issac, Aaliyah and Megan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kiwanis Shelter #1 (3540 E 30th St, Farmington, NM 87402). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A reception will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tomasita's Mexican Restaurant (500 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
