It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn DeWees of Farmington, New Mexico, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Keating and Ruth Keating; her sisters, Mary Ruth, Joyce and Wanda Faye; and her son Matthew (Carl DeWees).
She is survived by: her husband Carl DeWees; her children, Clint DeWees (Christie), Bryant DeWees (Melissa) and Elaine Parker of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Lt. Colonel Brad DeWees, Kelli McWinn (Joshua), Megan Baca (Ryan), Nick Parker (Cori), Katie Parker, Nate DeWees (Amanda), Kyle DeWees, Taylor Eddleman (Jordon) and Pauline DeWees; and her great grandchildren, Rylie Jo McWinn, Easton McWinn, Jacob McWinn, Lydia McWinn, Jackson DeWees, Henry DeWees, Milo Baca, Zoey Baca, Eleanor DeWees and Nash Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
