He is survived by: his wife Virginia Howard Yazzie; his children, Brando Howard (Sandy) and Regina Yazzie (Delbert); and his siblings, Esther Howard (Larry), Edith Howard (David), Maurina Poyer (Allan), Evelyn James (Ernie), Victoria Lee (late Gary), Sharon Lee (Travis) and Ray Yazzie, Jr.. He is also survived by six sisters.
