He was predeceased by : his brothers, Walter Martinez' (Dolores) and Richard Martinez' (Dora); his wife Nieves Garcia Martinez (Neva); his sons, Lenny Phillips Jr. and Michael Phillips; his parents, Levi Martinez and Anastasia Martinez; his siblings, Kathleen Robinson, Naomi Greene, Levi Jr. and Ben; and his brothers-in-law, Sal Mier, Bill Greene and Jim Rush.
He is survived by : his children, Jerod Martinez and Cari Phillips Fuller; his grandchildren, Brandon Phillips, Meriah Franklin, Alicia Elisaesser, Alene Schaper, Noelle Phillips and Michael Phillips; his nieces and nephews, Camille, Ken and Kevin; his sister Mary Rush; his nieces and nephews, Mike and Pat; his sister Anavi Roman (Victor); his nieces, Arlene and Debbie; his sister Grace Mier; his nieces and nephews, Lorraine, Robert, Steve, Cathy, Stacy, Rick and Paul; his sister Carol Martinez; his siblings-in-law, Connie Garcia, Pat Selph and Andy Garcia; and also, George, Kathleen, David, Diane, Karen, Mark and Robin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
