We announce the death of Edward Travis Barber of Flora Vista, New Mexico, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 77. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Barber and Ruby Jean Barber. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Shawn Barber (Emily) of Tucson and Randa Tapia (Ron) of Colorado Springs; his grandchildren, Tyler Barber, Alexis Barber, Ashlee Mills (Kaden), Brennan Tapia and Carson Tapia; and his great grandchildren, Blakelee Mills and Charlee Mills.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (200 W Sycamore Ave, Bloomfield, NM 87413). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cortez Cemetery.
