With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ceretha K. Griffin-Montgomery of Floyd, New Mexico, who passed away on May 13, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ceretha shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ceretha farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Griffin and Norene Hawkins Griffin; and her brother Forrest Griffin. She is survived by: her husband Steve Montgomery; her children, James Montgomery (Erica) of Dodge City, Kansas and Mariah Saiz of Springfield, Oregon; her siblings, Sarah Rodriguez (Ben) of Portales, Lelon Griffin of North Carolina and Bert Griffin of Guam; and her grandchildren, Elena Clark (Sam), Genevieve Bedinger and Matthew Montgomery. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
