He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jean Shafer; his son Brent Russell; his parents, Johnny Russell and Fern Russell; and his brothers, Bill, Butch and Phillip.
He is survived by: his children, Robert L Russell (RuthAnn), Tanya Cook and Michael Russell (Debbie); his grandchildren, Brandi, Mary (Geoff), Mitch (Jessica), Amber, Brent (Danielle), Simon and Evan; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Jack, Luke, Zenaiah, Zane, Elizabeth and Marlowe; and his sister Barbara. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
