“I work at the Martha Liebert Library in Bernalillo, NM. Jack would often come in; he and Marvene, I’d like to say, we became friends, sharing stories about traveling and just life in general. I would always ask questions about what he and Marvene were up to. I guess I would basically try to stall him just to talk to him. I found him very admirable, interesting, and adventurous. His demeanor was caring, respectful, and outgoing. He just was a remarkable person, so respectful, kind, and very genui”
