We announce the death of Linda Turner of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, born in Kirksville, Missouri, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Price and Joyce Price. She is survived by: her husband Roy Turner; her children, Robert Shaw (Misty) of Tucson, AZ and Karen Ciancio (Fred) of Cheyenne; her siblings, Martha Lisner (Charles) of Florida, Paul Sterling Price of Seattle, WA and Walter Evan Price (Gayle) of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Dominick Ciancio, Dylan Ciancio, Paige Ciancio, Alissa Allen (Cody), Kyleigh Trusty (Jacob) and Jared Shaw; and her great grandchild Tatum. She is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chavez Funeral Home (830 5th St, Fort Sumner, NM 88119). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church on the Hill (25203 US-84, Fort Sumner, NM 88119).
