Mike West Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike West (Fort Sumner, New Mexico), born in Denver, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bob West; and his brothers-in-law, JD Isler and Lecil Richards. He is survived by: his wife Stacy West; his sons, Cody West (Lindsay) of Fort Sumner, Casey West (Olivia) of Clovis and Curt West (Tanra) of Taos; his stepmother Mary Ann West (Steele) of Las Cruces, NM; his siblings, Cynthia Andreas (Mike) of Perryton, Charlie West (Vicki) of Fort Sumner, Cathy Fikany of Las Cruces and Jane Hammond of Isle; and his grandchildren, Kolter Lewis (Marla), Johni West, Keeli West, Creed West, Eli Washburn, Gavin West, Aspyn West, Alice West, Harper, Klara and Josie Lewis. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many good friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Methodist Church (719 Sumner Ave, Fort Sumner, NM 88119). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fort Sumner Cemetery (1335 N 17th St, Fort Sumner, NM 88119).
