It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Boyd of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dean Boyd and Vennie Lou Gregory; and his wife Barbara Boyd. He is survived by : his daughters, Dottie Wade (Dub) of Lubbock, TX and Nanette LaShay (David) of Portola Valley, CA; his brother Curtis Boyd (Toni) of Clovis; and his grandchildren, Leo Wade and Lillian Wade.
