He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Pete, Leon Burns and Cecilia Burns (Beatrice Burns); his stepdaughter Sovia Beyale; and his siblings, Patrick Burns, Isabell Yazzie, Virginia Padilla, Rosalyn Randall, Johanna Shirley and LaVerna Coker.
