It is with sadness that the passing of Alfredo Eloy Sedillos (Grants, New Mexico) is shared. Alfredo, born on May 17, 1942, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Prudencio Sedillos and Emma Moncivaiz; his siblings, Cleo Gallegos, Willie and Gene Sedillos; his grandparents, Francisco, Carolina Moncivaiz, Sinforosa Solano and Isabel Sedillos; his parents-in-law, Tomas Montoya and Guadalupe "Pita" Montoya; his brother-in-law Henry C. Montoya; his son-in-law Wilfred Rivera; and his brother-in-law Ancil Bud Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Louella Sedillos; his children, Eloy Eric Sedillos, Brenda Marie Rivera, Raul S. Sedillos (Marge) and Christopher M. Sedillos (Lisa); his grandchildren, Isiah (Kalei), Christopher Joshua (Stephany), Matthew Trujillo, Jesse Rivera, Philipe Rivera (Natasha), Andrea Bustos, Latisha Ponce (Daniel), Neika Sedillos, Leon Sedillos, Anthony Sedillos, Ruben Sedillos (Audrey), Chris Sedillos (Tiffany) and Sam Sedillos (Ashley); and his sister Carol Williams (Leona Sedillos). He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church (213 Smith St, Grants, NM 87020). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Ventana Steak House (110 Geis St, Grants, NM 87020). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grants Memorial Park Cemetery.
