We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 89, Sonia Proffitt (Grants, New Mexico), born in Pageton, West Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sonia Proffitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mose Rose and Margaret Rose; her husband Beryl Proffitt; her daughter Cheryl Lane (Floyd); and her son-in-law Scott Martin.

She is survived by : her daughter Brenda Martin; and her grandchildren, Pam Thomas (Donny), Kevin Martin (Jane), Danny Arthur, Scotty Martin (Gerardo), Dusty Martin (Gary) and Floyd Lane II (Nichol). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
