We announce the death of Teofilo MacArio Sanchez Jr. (Grants, New Mexico), who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 93. Teofilo will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parent Teofilo Sanchez Sr.; his daughter Karen Rivera (late Luis Rivera); and his grandchildren, Michael Molina, Salvador Sanchez, Angelo Garza, Teofilo Austin, Willie Nunez, Vanessa Garcia, Evette Rivera and Denetra Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Angelina Sanchez; and his children, Larry Sanchez (Edwina) and Janine Ortega (Alfonso).
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Potters House (342 1st St, Grants, NM 87020).
