She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Bustamante and Manuela Campos Bustamante; her siblings, Manuel Bustamante of Hobbs, Eulalio "Eddie" Bustamante of El Paso, TX, Richard Bustamante of Sacramento, CA and Lucy Bustamante of Sacramento, CA; her husband Santos Salazar of Hobbs; her daughter Theresa "Terry" Cantu of Hobbs; her son-in-law Juan "Camaron" Cantu of Hobbs; her son Juan Salazar of Hobbs; her granddaughter Ana Alicia Cantu of Hobbs; and her husband Marion Hightower of Hobbs.
She is survived by: her brother Jose Bustamante of Denver, CO; her son Jose Salazar of Hobbs; her stepsons, Mike Hightower (Anay) of Albuquerque, Stephen Hightower (Terri) of Albuquerque and Tim Hightower of Birmingham, AL; and her daughter Laurie Pellissier (Robert) of Hobbs. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Helena Catholic Church (100 E Bender Blvd, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
