He was predeceased by: his parents, Loraine Rose and Mathew Hensley; and his daughter Betty "Lori" Weber. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hensley; his daughter Valerie D. Hernandez; his brothers, Jimmy R. Hensley and Waymon M. "Butch" Hensley; his grandchildren, Christopher Hernandez (Samantha), Ashly Hernandez (Sidney), Zachary Starrett (Skyler) and Jasmine Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Zaylen, Cheyenne and Aarinna Hernandez.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
