He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesús Portillo and Casimira Portillo of Montoya; and his brother Andrés Portillo (Remedios). He is survived by: his wife Dianna Portillo; his children, Cecilia Portillo, Javier Portillo, Celia Portillo and Lourdes Portillo; his stepchildren, Tabitha Quintana, Esther Rodriguez, Eliseo Rodriguez, Alma Rodriguez and Linda Rodriguez; and his siblings, Hermila Portillo (late Asención Palma), Arcadia Jurado (late Nicholas Jurado), Susanna Camposano (Jesús Camposano) and Feliberto Portillo (late Cristina Portillo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the family's choosing.
