She was predeceased by: her sister Jazell Montoya Carnero. She is survived by: her parents, David T. Montoya and Carmen Montoya (Lara); her husband Eppie Calderon; her children, Rachel Schmeidler (Andrew), Elena Taylor (Darrence) and Stephen Calderon; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Lila Schmeidler; her siblings, Michael Montoya, Carla Duarte (Tommy), Anthony Montoya (Crystal) and Leticia Da Silva (Brandon); and her mother-in-law Rachel Sutton (Mark). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lisa Calderon Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Hobbs Municipal Schools, 1515 E. Sanger, Hobbs, NM 88240.
