He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Ford and Evelyn Ford. He is survived by: his spouse Quetha Dodd; his children, LaVoid Ford (Denise) of Hobbs, NM, Rick Ford (Dian) of Katy, Texas and Sheila Link (Dale) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and his brother Lindon Ford (Shirley) of Edmond, OK. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (1113 N Grimes St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (2201 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
