She is survived by: her husband Roy Simpson; her children, Steve Simpson (Judy), Keith Simpson (Melissa) and Karla Quimby; her grandchildren, Margaret Portillo (Michael), Jeff Simpson (Sloan), Justin Baggett, Brandon Baggett, Lacreesha Martinez (Adam) and Darren Quimby (Margie); and her siblings, Don Ray Cortez (Joyce), Gerry Cortez, Anita and Sheila. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240).
