He was predeceased by: his parents, Burtie Reva Thompson and Henry Benjamin Thompson; and his sister Francis Sue McCombs. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Sue Klotzbach (Michael) of Hobbs; his grandchildren, Ryan Glen Thompson of Hobbs and Amanda Michelle Gutierrez (Bernard) of Lovington; his sister Pamela Jane Basgall of Canton, TX.; his great grandchildren, Rhylee Akari Gutierrez and Rose Ember Gutierrez; and his significant other Judy Ann Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Hope Funerals & Cremations (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park E Stanolind (1900 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
