She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James M. Payne and Virginia Y. Oates; her children, Richard J Holmes and Sarah J Kuykendall; and her daughter-in-law Amanda Holmes. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hope Funeral Home (3321 N Dal Paso St, Hobbs, NM 88240).
