We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, at the age of 71, Nick G. Calderon Jr. (Hobbs, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nickolas Calderon and Ruth Calderon; his grandmother Ballerina Calderon; his brother-in-law Martin Lopez; his niece Reighlyn Rosales; his uncle Frank Calderon; his in-laws, Joe and Josephine Hernandez; and his nephew David Lovato.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hernandez; his children, Kristine, Rebecca (Zach Nash) and Nicholas (Kate); his grandchildren, Mya and Ryker Nash; and his siblings, Irene (Pat Vallejos), Frances (Pete Vigil), Josie Lopez, Lupe (Victor Aragon), Roman Calderon, Joseph (Ernestina Hernandez), Lonnie (Teri Hernandez), Patricia Gonzalez and JoJo (Melissa Hernandez). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and four God children.
