With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosita Licon Ponce (Hobbs, New Mexico), who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rosita Licon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rosita Licon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Home (401 N Dalmont St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (914 S Selman St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park (1900 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
