He is survived by: his wife Paula "Polly" Canava; his children, Nick Canava (Jodi), Dante Canava, Elizabeth Canava, Serena Carrasco (Jason) and Lorina Lira (Fabian); his siblings, Rose Vasquez (Austin), Ismael Canava (Garland), Rebecca Lascano (Amarillo) and Hector Garcia (Odessa); his grandchildren, Dominique, Dante Jr., Jaycee Canava, Jaelynn, Javen, Jeric Carrasco, Fabian Jr., Frankie, Ariyana, Aaryn, Fenix and Alana Lira; and his great grandchildren, Aiana and Adeline Carrasco.
