She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Mauldin and Ruth Mauldin; her brother Ray Mauldin; and her son Kevin Ray Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Kena Kay Cooper; her grandson Collin Cooper; her great grandchild Kipralee Cooper of Hobbs; her sister-in-law Pat Mauldin of Conroe; Matt Keller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 E Snyder St, Hobbs, NM 88240). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Prairie Haven Cemetery (2101 E Stanolind Rd, Hobbs, NM 88240).
