It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Wuest of Hobbs, New Mexico, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wuest and Jeanette Wuest (Bucholtz); his sister Deborah F. Clark; the mother of his children Gloria Wuest; and his children, Jo Ann Mathis and Newell Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Wilson Wuest; his children, Stephanie, Robert, Steven, Stephen Jr. and Michael; his stepchildren, Cheri Waddle and Chuck Wilson; his granddaughter Kristen Wilson; his great grandchild Aidan McCainn; and his siblings, Susan Smithmeyer and Dennis Wuest. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (920 N Turner St, Hobbs, NM 88240).
