He was predeceased by : his parents, Elizabeth Anne (McGee) and Thomas Joseph Salb Sr.. He is survived by : his daughter Teri Elizabeth (Tom); his wife Karen Jan Maciolek; his sisters, Ellen Steeb of Portland, Oregon and Dorothy; his brother-in-law Jerry Betts of Albuquerque; and his in-laws, Judy, Don Wagner, Mark Maciolek, Robert Maciolek and William Maciolek of Albuquerque.

A Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Helena Catholic Church (100 E Bender Blvd, Hobbs, NM 88240).

The family requests that instead of flowers donations be made to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, 1001 State Highway 1, San Antonio, NM 87832.
