It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tomas S. Salazar of Hobbs, New Mexico, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Tomas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Salazar and Maria Salazar; his brothers, Albert Salazar and Jose Salazar; his son Adan Gomez; and his grandchildren, Adrianne Salazar and Zakk Salazar.
He is survived by: his wife Dora G Salazar; his brother Armando Silva; and his sons, Mark Salazar, Amado Garcia and Guy Eagleburger. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
