He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Meeks and Catherine Wilson Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Gayle Franklin; his children, Jerry Glen Franklin of Farwell, TX, Tamara Franklin of New York City, Shelley Horton (Chris) of Argyle, TX and Shawn Rhea Franklin of House, NM; his grandchildren, Anna Franklin of Juarez, Steeley Rhea Franklin of Orange, TX, Cross Horton and Cassidy Horton of Argyle, TX; and his sister Doris Lee (Bob) of House, NM.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
