With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arnold Ray Moreno of Hurley, New Mexico, born in Belen, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Moreno and Anita Rodriguez; his grandson Alejandro "Lil" Alex Escobar; and his siblings, Hilario, Ruben Moreno and Genevieve "Veva" Silva.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Peralta; his children, Hilario "Larry" Moreno (Billie Jo) of Belen, NM, Jessica Escobar (Alex) of Santa Clara and Stephanie Ramirez (Robby) of Santa Clara; his grandchildren, Crystal Escobar, Seraya Sifuentes, Anthony Moreno, Hilario Moreno, Isaac Moreno, David Moreno, Erica Moreno, Isaiah Cordova, Azael "Ozzy" Escobar, Aaliyah Cordova, Justice Escobar, Odessey Ramirez, Amariyah Ramirez and Josiah Ramirez; his brothers, Eddie Moreno (Carmen) of Anthony, NM and Rudy Moreno of Belen, NM; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Peralta, Johnny Peralta, Michael Peralta and Alicia Moreno. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
