She was predeceased by: her husband Henry B. "Tunney" Melancon; her daughter Teresa Rawlings; her son-in-law William Rawlings; her stepson Faron Melancon; her parents, Verlee Goff and Leslie Roberts; and her siblings, Vera "Sug" Shannon, Leona Roberts, Shirley Roberts, James Roberts and Lloyd Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Middleton (Margaret Middleton), Pamela Lee (Joel Lee), Donna Hicks (Jimmy Hicks) and Melody Stubblefield (Jeffrey Stubblefield); her stepson Burton Melancon; her sister Joan Harmon; and her grandchildren, Hope Dotson, Franklin Elrod, Robert Rawlings, Billy Lee, Stephen Lee, Alexandra Hicks, Alexis Yates, Adrian Carl, Jordan Middleton, Caleb Stubblefield and Audrey Hicks. She is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren: and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
