She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Chavez; her parents, Florentino Zamora and Sylvia Zamora; her sons, Edward, Walter Chavez and Andrew Chavez "Tiger"; and her brother Seferino Zamora.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Andrew Chavez; her sisters, Rose Chavez (Tony) and Marylou Rael; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Marquez. She is also survived by grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens (101 N 10th St, Belen, NM 87002).
