He was predeceased by: his parents, Abelicio Gomez and Carmen Gomez; his nephew Nathaniel Gomez; his brother Victor Gomez (Inez Gomez); his nephew Alfonso Morales; and his grandparents, Ruperto, Nicanora Gomez, Nieves, Frank Sanchez, Antonia and Pablo Chavez.
He is survived by: his daughter Dedra Marrujo; his siblings, Jerry Gomez and Cynthia Gómez; his brother-in-law Vaughn Harris (Diane Martinez); and his siblings' children, Abe Gomez, Samantha Moreno, Marisol Gensamer, Robert Martinez, Jason Gomez, Vicente Gomez, Margarita Ortega, Christopher Gomez, Jesus Gomez and Priscilla Gomez. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
