He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Taylor Hope Bilberry and Trey Chase Bilberry; and his siblings, Truman, Stanley, Rodney, Joe, Basil Bilberry, Lavelle Kent and Natha Rolan.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Lyle Howell; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Cheree Bilberry of Kenna; his daughter Jana; his son-in-law Kendall Terry of Portales; his grandchildren, Tori (Sterling Morris), Rana (Trent Crow), Payton (Callie Terry) and Trent (Bailey Bilberry); his great grandchildren, Tason Crow, Swayzi Terry, Ryder Crow, Steely Terry, Renlee Crow, Ridge Terry and Alice Bilberry; and his sister Naomi Dean Rollinson of Clovis.
