She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria (Emilio Tarango) of Jesus Garcia and Emilio Tarango; her son Felipe Leyva; her grandsons, Erick and Cristobal Leyva; and her siblings, Rita, Genoveva, Leandra, Victoria and Jesus Jose Tarango.
She is survived by: her children, Alvaro Leyva (Rafaela), Fernando Leyva (Teresa), Alfonso Leyva (Alpha Duran), Elias Leyva (Mary Jo), Eraclio Leyva (Adela) and Ramona Alicia Ramirez. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
