He was predeceased by: his mother Eugenia Carabajal of La Mesa; his wife Inge Samann; and his siblings, Santiago, Frances, Reyes, Refugia, Nabora and Lucy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Banegas (Robert) of Las Cruces, NM, Lucy Foy and Mary Lou Ward (Christy) of Las Cruces, NM; his grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley), Cody (Lisa), Justin (Jennifer), Thomas, Kyle and Jason; his great grandchildren, Corey (Tasha), Austin (Daniel), Dalton (Daniel), Beaux (Cody), Gage (Justin), Tyson (Cody), Liam (Justin), Wyatt (Daniel) and Colton (Daniel); and his family Paul.
