He is survived by: his parents, Diane Martinez (Chavez) of Vado, NM and Andres Martinez of Taos, NM; his sister Maria Elena "Mari" Chavez-Roman (Ruthie) of Las Cruces; his stepfather Julian Hernandez, Jr. (Naomi) of Deming; his fiancée Maribel Reyes; his children, Elizabeth Arzola of Elko, NV, Aliyah Martinez (Tony) of Las Cruces, Rosie Ayala (Candie) of Las Cruces, Armando Marquez (Jessica), Jacob Martinez (Ximena) of Silver City, Anthony Ayala (Kaitlin) and Jaime Ayala of Las Cruces; his grandson Santiago; his niece Angel Arroyo; his nephew Jaime Arroyo (Dominique); his great-nephews, Jalen and Julian Arroyo; his godparents, Rudy Luna and Rosie Chavez of Santa Clara; and his caregiver Martha G..
