He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Alvarado and Valentin Renteria; his wife Vicenta Armendariz Renteria; his children, Esther and Seferino; his siblings, Heriberta Renteria Alvarado and Roberto Renteria; his grandchildren, Veronica Montoya Renteria and Ernest Misquez Renteria; and his sons-in-law, Ernest Misquez Sr., Roberto Soto and Daniel Corona.

He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo Renteria (Thelma), Alejandro Renteria Jr. (Ofelia), Jose, Javier Renteria (Alma), Cesar Renteria, Lorenza Misquez, Cuca Renteria, Aurora Soto Renteria, Manuela Recendez (Florentino), Minerva García (Enrique), Maria Renteria Goodall (Kevin) of Corona and Regina Montes (Ramon).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM.
