Amelia Avalos Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amelia Avalos (Las Cruces, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Arvizu and Evangelina Arvizu (Robert). She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Avalos (Rafael), Patricia Bertoldo (Bobby) and Robert Joseph Avalos (Catheryn); her siblings, Chila Jeffery, Socorro Armendariz, Tony Arvizu and Ruben Arvizu; her daughters, Christine Salas and Catherine Bertoldo; and her siblings, Ana Sanchez, Amparo Arvizu and Arturo Arvizu. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Getz Funeral Home.
