He is survived by: his wife Martha Triste; his daughters, Veronica Triste and Andrea Triste; his grandchildren, Dominique Triste, Anisah Triste, Angel Triste, Zavian Triste, Lyrissa Triste, Azayla, Amiyah and Chuy Triste-Carrillo; his great grandchildren, Amaree Triste and Xeovanni Flores; and his siblings, Ronny Garcia (Dolores), Josie Lerma (Miguel) and Pricilla Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
