She was predeceased by : her father Agustin Arellano; and her husband Baltasar. She is survived by : her mother Julia Arellano; her daughters, Julia Chip, Belen Montoya and Dolores Goughnour (Jim); her grandchildren, John Chip Jr. (Margaret), Paul Chip (Paula), Margie Montoya (Aron) and Joey Montoya (Anna); her great grandchildren, Jessica Tarin (Curtis), Katrina Ogaz (Matthew), Zachary Chip, Nathan, Mia Acosta and Mariah Montoya (Toby); and her great great grandchildren, Dante Chip, Bella Tarin, Benji Ogaz, Ryker Acosta, Raymond, Zay Sierra and Emiliano Allison.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mesilla Valley Hospice (299 E. Montana Ave., Las Cruces, NM 88005) or to Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church (5480 Ledesma Dr. #706, Dona Ana, NM 88032).
