He was predeceased by: his wife Christina Perez Serna. He is survived by: his children, Arturo D. Serna, Anna Serna-Wylie and Annette Serna; his granddaughter Alyssa Serna; his great grandchildren, Ariyah and Azalea Sanchez; and his sisters, Cecilia Ayers and Ernestina Torres.
