He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Charles E. and Mary Bernadine Sikes; wife: Verna; sister: Susie (Bart); daughters: Emily (Matt) and Kayla; sons: Joshua (Odessa), JR, Michael (Savonne), and Josh (Rachelle); mother-in-law: Olga; father-in-law: Bill Newman; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Getz Funeral Home (1410 E Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
