She is survived by: her husband Joel Peterson of Las Cruces, NM.; and her siblings, Sharon Stadsvold of Las Cruces, Twyla Rush of Edina, MN., Tom Altenhofen of Ankeny, IA., Tim Altenhofen of Madison, WI. and Gary Altenhofen of Spencer, IA..
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1701 Missouri Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88001). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (2901 S 12th Ave W, Newton, IA 50205).
